Antalya is a city in Turkey, situtaed on its south west by the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, by the Gulf of Antalya. The city can be called as a very old one, since recent excavations have brought out news that the town might first have been occupied to as long back as 3rd century B.C. This makes Antalya an important place for tourists to get in touch with Mediterranean history. The city centre comprises of many historic location and these have been taken care of and maintained well and are open to tourists.
